In December, 2008, The Progressive Journal published the first in a new line of books showcasing our award-winning content. The Central Eagles Yearbook: 2008 chronicled the football team at Central High as it strove to win the state championship, a book that included every story and profile published during the season by the weekly newspaper.
In February, the newspaper collected the political commentary of Linda Hansen, who began contributing to its opinion page in 2005. Yes, We Did reprints dozens of her columns centering on the recent presidential election, from early rumblings about possible candidates to 2009’s historic inauguration of America’s first African-American president.
